Day 1
On arrival at Simferopol airport you will be met by a local guide and
taken by coach, mini bus or car to Yalta.
Drive to Yalta via the Angara Pass with fantastic views of surrounding
mountains. Visit Livadia Palace, the summer residence of the last Russian Tsar and the site of the Yalta
Conference in 1945. Designed by Russian architect Krasnov in the early Italian
Renaissance style and completed in 1911, the Palace will strike you with its
irresistible beauty. Your guide will show you the restored White Hall where the
historic meeting between Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill was held, the Czar`s
Study and Roosevelt`s headquarters. |  |
Check into a hotel in Yalta. Enjoy lunch at
the hotel. Take a walking tour
of Yalta historical centre to view architectural monuments while strolling
along the Main Yalta Promenade - the most famous Crimea’s Promenade. You
will enjoy a leisurely visit to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral built
in 1902. Its architecture is typically Russian with the onion-shaped domes
while the interior is Byzantine in style. Time at your leisure. Overnight in
Yalta.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover
why Yalta was so popular with the Russian Tsars and aristocracy and visit 2
famous palaces of the South Coast of the Crimea. Transfer to Alupka and admire the lush
scenic beauty of the Crimean Riviera.
 | Visit Count Vorontsov’s beautiful palace at Alupka designed
by British architect Edward Blore in the
style of a baronial castle. Your
guide will walk you through its lavishly decorated interiors and provide an
informative commentary about the history of this superb building. Drive along the Crimean Riviera with a photo stop for panoramic views of the
coast and distant ‘Swallows Nest Castle’. |
Perched high on a cliff
this turreted fairytale structure designed by architect Sherwood in 1911 has become the symbol of the
Crimea. Proceed to Koreiz where you visit a palace
of one of the most famous aristocratic dynasties of Russia – the Yusupovs.
It was here that Felix Yusupov,
renowned as an assassin of the infamous Grigory Rasputin, was engaged to Grand
Princess Irina Alexandrovna – the niece of Czar Nicholas II in the autumn of
1912. During the Yalta Conference of the heads of the allied states of the
anti-Hitler coalition in 1945, Yusupov Palace was the residence of the USSR
delegation headed by Stalin. See Stalin and Molotov’s private rooms as your
guide regales you with fascinating stories surrounding the palace that witnessed
much throughout history. |  |
 | Transfer to Balaklava to admire fantastic views of the seaside and mountains. Enjoy local
cuisine lunch at the restaurant. Take
a short sightseeing tour of
Balaklava - a seaside town with eventful history. View the majestic ruins of the Genoese fortress
associated with poetic legends and see the harbour of Symbols, glorified by
Homer in his famous “Odyssey”. *Optional: enjoy Balaklava boat tour. Drive to Sevastopol to take a tour of Sevastopol historical downtown to stroll
along the waterfront and see Count’s Landing Stage – the grand sea gates
to the city and the symbol of Sevastopol. Visit Nakhimov Square and Maritime
Boulevard including a photo stop at the legendary monument to the Scuttled
Ships. Check into Sevastopol
hotel. Overnight in Sevastopol.

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Historical Boulevard and “The Defense of
Sevastopol of 1854-1855” Panorama Museum. This unique masterpiece of battle-painting shows the first general
assault of Sevastopol
during the Crimean War. Next you will continue to take a boat
tour of Sevastopol Harbours.
Transfer to Bakhchisaray to visit
Bakhchisaray Palace-Museum – a unique architectural and cultural monument
built in the 16th century. The palace became home to a succession of Crimean
Tatar Khans. Find out harem secrets of the palace, view the famous Fountain of
Tears glorified by Pushkin in his poem. Pause for the Crimean Tatar cuisine lunch. Enjoy a spectacular Crimean Tatar
Wedding Show during lunch (the show is available for a group of minimum 15
persons). Return to the hotel. Overnight in Sevastopol. | 
| Day 4
 | Breakfast at the hotel. Checking out. Take
a tour to Eupatoria, one of the most ancient towns of Europe founded more than
2500 years ago. The multinational population of Eupatoria at different stages
of its long history comprised Turks, Tartars, Jews, Karaites, Armenians and
Russians who passed on unique architectural monuments. During your tour of
local Little Jerusalem admire the 19th century St. Nicholas` Cathedral. | Proceed to the legendary Dzhuma-Dzhami mosque, built by the well-known Turkish architect Khodzha Sinan. Marvel at the interiors of the mosque and proceed further to see the unique Karaite Kenassas – religious center of Crimean Karaites, one of the smallest native groups of the Crimea. The complex of Kenassas was constructed at the end of the 18th - beginning of the 19th century and features a display of marble fountains, columns, marble plates with inscription on biblical language, samples of clothing, crockery, furniture of the Karaites.
 | Proceed to one of the first cult Muslim buildings of medieval Eupatoria –
the Tekie-Dervish, the temple
complex of the 16th-17th centuries where you will get acquainted with the culture, traditions
of dervishes - members of any of various Muslim ascetic orders, some of which
perform whirling dances and vigorous chanting as acts of devotion. Enjoy local cuisine lunch at a cosy restaurant. Transfer to Simferopol and take a sightseeing tour of Simferopol, the
capital of the Crimea. *Optional: visit the Chocolate Museum to learn about chocolate history since the
Mayan Indians up to nowadays. Taste local chocolate treats. Purchase of
souvenirs made of chocolate is available. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
